ARM open new office in Calgary

World 鶹ýӳ,

In Canada, Asset Risk Management LLC (ARM) recently opened a new office in the heart of the Calgary business district. By dedicating resources to Canada, ARM will be able to expand its already growing footprint in the exploration and production (E&P) sector.

The availability of private equity and other capital sources to fund the development of unconventional resources will accelerate asset development in Canada.鶹ýӳGiven our E&P industry expertise, we believe Canada offers attractive growth potential,鶹ýӳ said Christopher Lang, senior vice president, ARM. 鶹ýӳA presence in Canada will improve our North American fundamental outlook as we become more embedded in the region. This knowledge and experience will make us an even more valued advisor to our clients, existing and new.鶹ýӳ

ARM has hired Stephanie Barker to lead the Calgary office, which will initially focus on ARM鶹ýӳs core hedge advisory business to establish and build relationships with E&P clients in Canada. Over time, ARM expects that the new office will be able to offer the full suite of producer services currently offered to ARM clients in the US.
