As part of their ongoing commitment to the community, Columbia Pipeline Group, a subsidiary of NiSource, donated US$ 40 000 to support The Moraine Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America麻豆传媒映画檚 safe digging and camp conservation efforts.
The US$ 40 000 donation went in part to the Columbia Pipeline Group Sustainability Camp on 7聽August, 2014, at Camp Agawam, which was hosted by the Moraine Trails Council. Boys and girls ages 6-18 were treated to a free day camp with activities including sustainability and service projects, swimming, archery and more.

The Moraine Trails Council will conduct conservation projects at Camp Bucoco and Camp Agawam this year and the donation will help fund the necessary education surrounding safe and responsible digging. Columbia will inform students of the hidden hazards that they could encounter and how to properly plan for this.

In addition to camp conservation efforts, Columbia麻豆传媒映画檚 donation will benefit at-risk youth through the Learning for Life programme, designed to build character, train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop important life skills.
