How to Slash Carbon Pollution From Wellhead to Waterline in British Columbia麻豆传媒映画檚 Proposed Liquefied Natural Gas Industry麻豆传媒映画� concludes that without policy leadership, LNG produced in B.C. would produce more than three times the carbon produced in the current world-leading operations in Australia and Norway.
The report concludes that it is still possible for B.C. to keep its pledge to produce the cleanest LNG in the world, stating that 麻豆传媒映画渢his leadership gap can be closed if the government creates the policy environment that both directs and incentivizes the energy industry to employ a mix of strategies and technologies proven to drive carbon pollution down all the way across the life cycle of LNG production麻豆传媒映画�.
Strong leadership combined with a mixture of available and proven technologies and processes will be required to successfully implement the B.C. LNG development, which currently represents a trillion-dollar economic opportunity that could create 100 000 jobs.
