Exova wins long term agreement with The Ulven Companies

Exova is set to provide mechanical, chemical and metallography testing services as part of a three-year longterm agreement with The Ulven Companies Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­“ a specialist in the provision of metal forging and foundry services to the oil and gas industry, alongside others. The work will be conducted at ExovaÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­™s specialist materials testing laboratory in Portland, Oregon.

Scope of ExovaÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­™s work

Rocco J. Moro, Vice President of Aerospace for Exova in the Americas, said: Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­œOur team in Portland draw on our global expertise to support UlvenÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­™s advancement of specialty forgings along with the steel castings manufactured by Wolf Steel Foundry.Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­

Under the agreement, Exova, a global testing group, will deliver a programme of fatigue, creep and thermal testing of wrought aerospace-grade alloys. Moreover, the company will use its services to support the development of The Ulven CompaniesÂé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­™ future technologies.
