Zeus unveiled its new NeoTemâ„¢ fluropolymer line at the Offshore Technology Conference held recently in Houston. Through extensive research, Zeus has developed processes to extrude ECCtreme® ECA 3000 by DuPontâ„¢ Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»“ the first perfluoroplastic that breaks the maximum temperature threshold of 260° C/500° F Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»“ into heat shrinkable tubing, insulated wire, drawn fibre and extruded tubing.
Prior to NeoTem™, polymer tubing and products had a maximum temperaturethreshold of 260° C / 500° F. The new engineered polymer possesses excellent dielectric strength, chemical resistance and permeation resistance, even at extreme temperatures.
