Columbia Pipeline Group (CPG) has committed to helping the Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration & Protection Authority (CRPA) preserve and enhance the area麻豆传媒映画檚 ecological and cultural landscape through a contribution of US$50 000. The donation was awarded on 24 February at the group麻豆传媒映画檚 monthly meeting at the Southwest Louisiana Development Alliance.
Senator Blade Morrish attended the event and commended Columbia Pipeline Group for their support.
"This event started with a conversation and phone call," senator Morrish said. "Columbia really stepped up to the plate with the coordination of this event and this generous donation in support of such a worthwhile organisation."
The money will be used in support of the Chenier Plain CRPA麻豆传媒映画橲 ongoing efforts to establish, construct, operate and maintain flood control works as they relate to hurricane protection, tidewater flooding, saltwater intrusion and wetland conservation.

CPG representatives were invited to the meeting to present to attendees on the company麻豆传媒映画檚 Louisiana presence, including an update the proposed Columbia Gulf Cameron Access Project. The roughly US$300 million investment will bring new construction jobs to Southwest Louisiana, additional tax revenue to the state and local parishes, and further cement the region as one of America麻豆传媒映画檚 leading centres of energy production and commerce.
