API Q2 is a new, risk-based quality management system approach that focuses on supply chain controls, service design, competency, preventive maintenance, contingency planning and service quality plans, inspection activities, equipment repair and maintenance, well construction and servicing and abandonment.
The API Q2 certification requires companies to implement all of the above QMS procedures, post consistent results and work to continuously improve the management system, thus increasing overall customer satisfaction.
