Advanced Insulation expands US facility

Published by , Senior Editor
World 鶹ýӳ,

There has been a significant increase in sales activity from the North America market in recent months. UK-based Advanced Insulation 鶹ýӳ a leading manufacturer of technical and insulation materials for the upstream oil and gas industry; and specialist in the design, engineering and manufacture of polymer solutions for the marine and offshore sectors 鶹ýӳ is expanding its operation in Houston, Texas, with an additional 10 000 ft2 manufacturing facility.

Announcing the move, Advanced Insulation鶹ýӳs Managing Director Andrew Bennion says: 鶹ýӳthe 10 000 ft2 expansion means we are now even better placed to assist our North American customers more effectively, by providing an in-house insulation facility.鶹ýӳ

Until now, most insulation services were undertaken at its customers鶹ýӳ facilities, but the expansion means Advanced Insulation can now insulate topside and subsea components and systems, using its ContraFlame and ContraFlex ranges of passive fire protection and thermal insulation systems at its own warehousing and manufacturing facility.

Bennion continues to state how the recent appointment of Mike Sherman and Larry King to develop and implement Advanced Insulation鶹ýӳs strategic growth plans, is already paying dividends. 鶹ýӳWe are forecasting subsea sales to increase significantly in the coming months, and are anticipating substantial additional appointments, to ensure we continue to meet and exceed the demands and expectations of our North American customers.鶹ýӳ
