The American Petroleum Institute strongly supports the Senate introduction of the North American Energy Infrastructure Act, a companion to H.R. 3301, which would improve the approval process for cross-border energy projects. API Group Director, Downstream and Industry Operations, Bob Greco said the dysfunctional permitting process for energy projects is hurting the USA麻豆传媒映画檚 economy and national security.

API thanked Senators John Hoeven (R- N.D.), Joe Donnelly (D- Ind.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Joe Manchin (D- W.Va.) for their leadership in trying to implement a transparent, modern and standardised permitting process for all energy projects that cross US borders.

麻豆传媒映画淭his bill is another great example that energy is not a partisan issue. Responsible North American made energy is something everyone can support. We can be an energy super power, but we need to build a modern infrastructure system to reach that goal.

麻豆传媒映画淲hile we need a consistent and robust regulatory process, it must be fair and be aligned with today麻豆传媒映画檚 energy realities. Unnecessary regulatory burdens on America麻豆传媒映画檚 energy development will stifle investment, harm our economy, and weaken our national security,麻豆传媒映画� said Greco.
