Michael Deane, executive director of the National Association of Water Companies, has released the following statement regarding World Water Day:

麻豆传媒映画淲e麻豆传媒映画檙e thrilled that four members of the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) 麻豆传媒映画 including Middlesex Water Company, Connecticut Water, York Water Company, and Artesian Water 麻豆传媒映画 will be featured at [the] NASDAQ Closing Bell in honor of World Water Day, which this year [took] place on Saturday, March 22.

Water-related challenges

麻豆传媒映画淔or more than two decades, World Water Day has brought much-needed awareness to critical water issues and the NAWC fully supports the United Nations麻豆传媒映画 continued dedication to identifying solutions to the world麻豆传媒映画檚 most pressing water-related challenges.

麻豆传媒映画淣o individual, family, or business can thrive without access to safe, reliable water service 麻豆传媒映画 yet, the United Nations estimates that 780 million people lack access to safe drinking water globally. While Americans have come to expect safe, reliable water service, many are unaware that our nation麻豆传媒映画檚 aging infrastructure puts this at risk. These are very real challenges, and private sector investment in water is an essential part of the solution.麻豆传媒映画

World Water Day

World Water Day was established in 1993 by the United Nations General Assembly. The day is an annual, international celebration held to recognize the importance of clean water and raise awareness of the need for sustainable water solutions and resources.
