St Andrews Instrumentation 麻豆传媒映画� a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of St Andrews 麻豆传媒映画� is one of the UK麻豆传媒映画檚 leading designers and manufacturers of innovative acoustic technologies. The company has taken a lease on two units at the Mill Court Industrial Estate in Tayport, Dundee, which will almost triple the size of its premises. The two building will be utilised as a new headquarters and test centre for St Andrews Instrumentation as it advances its global production ambitions.

The move comes after three years of research and development and around £1 million of investment by the University and the SOI Group.

SA Instrumentation is a pioneer in real-time autonomous acoustic detection and it has designed and manufactured a portfolio of products, with a growing range of applications, from marine mammal detection to advanced human diagnostics equipment.

Recent project work, such as that with Liquid Robotics, has helped St Andrews Instrumentation underpin the company麻豆传媒映画檚 decision to open the new office. The new premises will accommodate the company麻豆传媒映画檚 five research, development engineers and administrative staff. There will be a new workshop area comprising design, test and despatch areas, as well as office space.

Creating products for the oil and gas industry

The company麻豆传媒映画檚 products include the Decimus^庐 which is used in support of environmental assessments, mitigation measures and scientific research. Applications of this product include marine renewables, oil and gas, decommissioning, marine civil engineering and infrastructure projects by the government, security and defence contractors, and the scientific community.

Earlier this year, the company launched its data acquisition (DAQ) card, a new solution for acoustic processing, including, marine mammal research and noise monitoring. The product allows for the detection of acoustic data over a wide frequency band width that allow user control over the gain and filtering on all its analogue inputs combined with small size and power requirement.
