Subsea UK has launched its new online learning programme, namely The Introduction to Subsea Engineering. The purpose of this course is to support the development of new engineers and technicians who are entering the subsea sector, and to develop graduates 麻豆传媒映画� the next generation to of engineers. The ultimate aim of the programme is to train recruits, thus assisting the UK麻豆传媒映画檚 £9 billion subsea sector to achieve its global potential.

The Introduction to Subsea Engineering course

Initially established a Subsea UK a few years ago, the Introduction to Subsea Engineering course can be completed in approximately 60 hrs across an eight week time period. Students study four modules to become fully inducted into the subsea sector.

The Robert Gordon University has designed the modules, which it has significantly upgraded to include recent developments and new practices in the fast-growing sector. This has become mandatory training for a number of companies in the industry. For example, Aker Solutions will be putting its graduate engineers through the programme, which is delivered through the university麻豆传媒映画檚 virtual learning environments.

The programme features progression and tracking options

Fundamentals of Subsea Systems training courses

Meanwhile, Subsea UK麻豆传媒映画檚 one-day Fundamentals of Subsea Systems training courses have been positively received by the industry 麻豆传媒映画� with 70 people from over 30 companies undertaking the programme.

Subsea UK麻豆传媒映画檚 one-day course has been developed to provide a broad, but in-depth, overview of the sector both from a UK and global perspective. It shares useful insights into subsea engineering and technology, such as how subsea fields are developed.

A broader understanding of the impact engineers
